We have 3 cats (maybe 4, just picked up a stray...) and there's this cute black lab I'm thinking about rescuing from the local Dog pound; named Maximus. We used to live in Ravenna, Ohio where I worked at the Portage County APL. Also, I recently received my Diploma for Animal Care Specialist. Yeah!

One day I was simpy Y!buzzing around in a field of ma.gnolias furling a del.icio.us mixx of kaboodle and reddits when I stumbleupon a propeller that flickred and made a fark sound - not one of my faves you know?

Now I gotta tell more friendsters about this so I quickly break out my newsvine and slashdot some clipmarks so when I get home to myspace I can blogsmarks it on my facebook. I don't want to stay stuck in this dzone state of mind, which will keep my head sphinning, because I'm just an 'ol hippie, can ya digg it?

I've made available for download a 2009 photo calendar for OpenOffice 3.0 Write. It's not an extension, or a true template, just a set of twelve .ODT files including an .ODM file, formatted to fit on a standard letter size page. Also included are: an example 640x480 pixel image, and exported .PDF file, as well as Public Domain licenses. I've made three archives available: .ZIP, .RAR, and .7Z.

I noticed that WOT - Web of Trust - has a logo contest mentioned on their blog. So I decided to try my skills and make an entry. I suppose I went a little overboard, I made three sets of images with four image sizes per set.

If you haven't heard about WOT, basically it is a community whose members exchange knowledge of websites based upon: Trustworthiness, Vendor Reliability, Privacy, and Child safety. To sum it up, a user feedback security system.

I didn't get the vet-tech job, guess no one wants to hire this ole lady, hehe anyway, I am applying for another job which is a dispatcher at the Sheriff's Office. I already turned everything in and will take Civil Service test in a couple of weeks so wish me luck there.

Also really big and great news.
David finally bought me a wedding ring to match my engagement ring so as soon as I have pics of it I will post them! It is really pretty and it took us awhile to match the rings.

We adopted Maximus today from the Stark County Dog Pound.

Previous owner surrendered; they couldn't afford him. 10 months old. Loves everyone. Good with kids and cats. He weighs 51 lbs. Fees include spay/neuter, rabies, 5 way, and bordetella.
